What is a great recipe for a romantic dinner?
|
1 Dean Jones Do something Itailian or French, White or Red wine is a must. also, white candles must be lit and burning during dinner.
2 Adalberto Brown In a different vein, and not exactly cookedTry an indoor picnic: cheese, cold chicken (cut or torn into pieces) or or a gourmet sliced ham, crusty bread or croissants, colorful veggies cut up, apples in slices, strawberries, and champagne or a nice wine. Make sure everything can be eaten with fingers.Presentation is key here. Don't eat at the dining room table - eat on the floor (or couch) in the living room or den. Make sure the room is clean. Light as many candles as you can find. If eating on the floor, lay a blanket down and add some pillows.
3 Lowell Jones Italian - Spinach Gnocci, it can be difficult to do but if you do it right, it's really great.
4 Oma Turner Steak au poivre is nice or if you don't eat red meat, tuna steak seared and crusted in pepper. The pepper stimulates appetite. Serve something chocalate for dessert -- the phenylalanine in it makes people feel romantic. Avoid asparagus -- it is not really an aphrodisiac and will simply stink up the bathroom when you or your date have to pee. Red is a romantic color, so serve on red dishes or use naturally red foods like tomatoes, red pepper and strawberries.
5 Kourtney Duncan I'd like to cook a romantic meal for my wife. Any suggestions?
