What music/song would best represent the romantic literary time period?
|
1 Charise Hughes Tchaikovsky would be your best best, he wrote classical music during the romantic period, and it goes very well with romantic literature.
2 Lyndon Walsh llilykdesign is dead on the money! try looking for classical and especially russian classical composers!
3 Gala Duncan The theme song from "Somewhere in Time".
4 Irena Mitchell Greensleeves
5 Alfonzo Taylor Se if this website helpshttp:// .classical http://music-art-friends.com /music/rep/lists…Good Luck
6 Beryl Morgan Tchaikovsky is indeed one of the masters of the Romantic period, and you could use music from one of his ballets--say, Swan Lake or Romeo and Juliet--if you want an orchestra sound and a lot of emotion. Another good choice for a sweeping orchestral sound would be a symphony by Brahms. If you want less instrumentation, try a piano concerto by either Chopin or Liszt. On the other extreme, the grand "showmen" of the period were Verdi, Wagner, and Berlioz. Try listening to part of La Symphonie Fantastique (Berlioz), Tristan and Isolde (Wagner) or Aida (Verdi).
7 Aundrea Wallace I have a project about the romantic literary time period, and I think it would be great if I could include some music that best corresponds with the mood...but I'm having trouble finding any music or songs like that. It would be great if you could help!
